Inspired by nature, and a truly unique design, this intriguing semi-detached home has been designed by the talented team at Hyla Architects. Located in Bowmont Gardens, the first and most noticeable feature of this dwelling is the lattice-lice geometric pattern that covers the exterior of the residence. Unlike many districts in this busy and bustling country, Bowmont Gardens features a range of detached and duplex homes. This makes it a highly desirable place to live, with access to many restaurants, bars, and amenities.

The contemporary house features two-storeys, and includes a large outdoor entertaining space with timber deck, as well as a pond. There is a dining, kitchen, and living area, with an abundance of stylish features and fittings. Upstairs, the home features a family room, master bedroom, and another feature attic bathroom. Throughout the abode we see a range of sophisticated materials and techniques that have been utilised and employed to enhance these interior and exterior domestic spaces.

So come with us, and venture inside this truly spectacular dwelling! Check out the images below, and get some additional inspiration for your home!

A bold and impressive façade

Possibly the most impressive feature of this new dwelling is the extravagant façade. This exterior covering is styled in a lattice formation, yet looks organic and geometric. Boasting bold black hues, and a laser cut electric front entry, it is definitely the eye-catching dwelling within this street!

The home is illuminated beautifully, and features huge floor to ceiling glazing that adds to its luxury and understated opulence. Additionally, the home features a westerly aspect, which is enhanced with architectural details that exploit the setting sun.

Lovely latticework

As we move closer to the entry we are given a great view of the interior spaces, and their cohesion with the geometric yet organic aesthetic. Bamboo plants emulate and mimic the shapes of the exterior covering, and add fresh vibes to the entire space.

Inside we get a peek of the glorious white interior that glistens and gleams against the dark timber tones. The home is chic and impressive, yet still extremely inviting.

Contemporary with a twist

There is a wonderful blend of features within the dining room space, and combined with a natural and organic twist, the room is highly unique. Bright red acrylic chairs sit at the breakfast bar of the kitchen, and they are flanked by clear seating that reflects the airy vibe of the room.

In the distance we are able to get a glimpse of the lounge space, and this is enhanced with the screen covering that looks seamlessly integrated with the other features.

Sliding doors are used to close off the room from the exterior, but once opened bring the outside 'inside' and add cohesion to the room.

The light fittings are particularly spectacular, and hang above the table in droplets adding a wonderful lightness to the dining area.

Bespoke features and fittings

As we turn around and view the room from an opposite perspective we are able to see the gorgeous bespoke kitchen that features sleek lines, and stainless steel appliances. The entire space is white except for the bright red breakfast bar chairs, and contrasting black leather modular sofa.

Floor to ceiling glass ensures this house evokes a sense of openness, and the room is light, bright, and extremely airy.

A smart room divider

Within the upstairs family room space, there is a TV-cum-shelf that divides the room from the staircase, providing an interesting and intriguing object. This modular custom made piece is replete with a huge amount of storage space for books, objet d'art, and other cherished curios.

This room is also a space of contrast, with the light timber floors working is opposing harmony to create a room that is gorgeously original and effortlessly chic. The modernity of the space adds to the liveability, ensuring this is a home for true 21st century living.

The attic bathroom

The attic bathroom is truly a beautiful space. Replete with cantilevered elements, the shelf, sink, mirror, and light all jut out creating a surprisingly satisfactory space. Gone are the days of uncomfortable and stale attics, this bathroom takes design to the next level, employing different textures and materials to add a sense of luxury and opulence.

The entire space is unbelievably lavish, and yet still manages to retain its nonchalant cool aesthetic. This is a washroom that invites occupants to rest, relax, and renew one's soul and body.

Moving monochromatic tones

Here we see the bathroom looking particularly stylish. The sophisticated design is the ultimate in contemporary styling, without relinquishing a sense of timelessness and age-defiance.

The colour scheme is a monochromatic one, with greys being used heavily throughout the space. Additionally, reflective surfaces are employed to add a sense of spaciousness. These mirrors take the natural light from the roof light, and angle it into the room, enhancing the feeling of brightness.

This home is a wonderful example of how to create a home without sacrificing style, elegance, and endurance. It is a dwelling that will undoubtedly stand the test of time, and impart a true sense of 21st-century architectural nous; a highly successful project, and a stunningly unique design.
