Here on homify we are simply blown away by luxurious spaces, which is why we’ve singled out this delightful beauty for today’s homify 360° highlight.

The home (a very loose term for this magnificent structure) in question is a wonder of minimalist architecture that few architects would ever dare to try. Similar to an art gallery sculpture, this creation can be interpreted as a piece of multi-dimensional art that changes our perspective and excites all the senses.

But of course there is a main focal point that was created to both enjoy and make jaws drop – and that is the two swimming pools located directly above and below each other.

Sound good? Of course it does, so scroll ahead and discover this masterpiece for yourself!

A concrete vision

Of course a house with such delectable beauty and envy-inducing elements needs a fair share of privacy, which is why a decent concrete coating was used for the front side. This area offers a blank and very closed-off surface compared to what lies in store for us at the back.

And to be honest, if it wasn’t for the timber decking and perfectly maintained garden, the house would appear quite intimidating to outsiders – perhaps that was the idea all along?

Simply smashing

Now this is certainly something we don’t see every day! Like a giant, artistic sculpture, the house forces us to stand still and take it all in.

Architecturally speaking, the structure stands with limited support and looks to float above the ground due to the ingenious design where most of the exterior walls are moved from sight.

This seems to be a grand spot for viewing, as we are able to see parts of the interior setting as well. Let’s continue!

Sunlight, space and water

‘Sunlight, space and water’ were the main concepts the owners had in mind when they asked for a minimalist-style house. The architects used these keywords and turned them into aesthetic features, which the house flaunts with optimum precision.

Although it may look like this part of the house, including the pool, floats above the ground, the weight of the materials on the upper level are all about being light and transparent.

Open-air beauty

The house’s two levels are made up of a series of flexible spaces that connect to each other without restriction, aiding in the structure’s astonishing open-air living. Paired with the minimalist-style décor and neutral tones, this makes the house seem even more spacious and open.

As we can no doubt see, most of the living spaces are dedicated to relaxation, offering numerous spots for the owners to just take a breather and enjoy calling this magnificent structure “home”.

Light on white

The hallway’s glazed surfaces are deliberately uncomplicated to ensure that no designs or restrictions interfere with the incoming light. We just love the delicious combination of white and glass, expertly selected to enhance the continuity between inside and out, while also complementing the natural light flooding inside.

The ultra modern kitchen

A kitchen is located at one end of the house, flaunting a superb amount of modern style and eye-catching features. And thanks to those generous glass doors, natural lighting becomes a key element, beautifully enhancing the glossy kitchen surfaces all day long.

A striking bathroom space

The power of brightness (or should that be whiteness) is continued in the main bathroom, which looks simply incredible from our perspective. Thanks to the LED lighting that runs along the ceiling and bathtub, light washes throughout and illuminates every nook and cranny, causing select elements to have an otherworldly and floating appearance.

The fantastic walk-in shower is undoubtedly the star player here, complete with a multi-functional rain shower unit that can be changed with touch-sensitive controls.

A hidden wine cellar

We know that the swimming pools are beyond magnificent, but we do need to take a quick glimpse at the wine cellar. With a concrete staircase leading us to the lower level, we find a glass case, seamlessly integrated into the corridor and filled with bottles of full-bodied beauties.

But just notice how the bottles themselves become décor pieces, introducing a rustic element into this interior style that has been focused on minimalism and modernity.

Most definitely a house that can be mentioned when talking about expertly crafted structures!

But back to wine cellars – let’s see how you can Drink responsibly! And at home.
