Awesome homes are made with love and patience. While this alone will not suffice, an investment in terms of the right design which will give you a home that works for everyone in the family will ensure that you come up with a home that not only looks gorgeous and inviting on the outside but is comfortable and functional from the inside. The architects of GEOMETRIXS ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS, Bangalore have made a beautiful modern duplex home which has several traditional elements.

Traditional welcome

A welcome such as this always reminds one of old homes which lead to your grandmother’s home. A large board that gives the address and the name of a home is a wonderful way of inviting the right people home. The dark wood placard on the wall works very well against a stark wall. The gate is a wonderful combination of grill and wood.

Grand facade

The pleasing little home is attractive and inviting. The white walls accentuated by the interesting and intricate wall hanging that forms a part of the exteriors of the house. The massive gate creates a wonderful look and the combination of iron and wood gives a rustic feel to the home.

Lovely main door

A look at the main door gives you an idea of the traditional feel of the place. Heavy wooden doors made magnificent by using glass in between adds to the charm. Also, intricately carved designs have been added to make it look ornate and spectacular. The ceiling also looksmarvelous thanks to the unusual design added in there.

Interesting foyer

A gorgeous space with a simple shelf on the side has been made better with the use of a simple ledge which can be used as a seating area to wear footwear. Thanks to the large window, this space is not lacking in bright light or natural air.

Lovely natural elements

By using the natural shape of the walls, the designers have created shapes that work to create a one-of-a-kind TV unit. The stone wall is the perfect background for a TV creating the right contrasts. The open ledges on the column works great for collectibles and artifacts. The long ledge below it all balances the design.

Gorgeous kitchen

A beautiful kitchen by any standards, the granite, the wall tiles and the colour of the shelves makes a wonderful combination. The dark colour of the granite works exceptionally against the cool colours of the cabinets. The mirrors below the shelves is an unusual touch to this kitchen.

Great use of height

The wall against the staircase has been wonderfully accentuated with the wooden look. The balustrade shares the same idea and the combination of wood and glass works great. The tall ceiling is made striking thanks to the interesting use of the intricately carved skylight.12 pictures of kitchen cabinets for Indian homes.
