Claudia Grespi was born in Pisa  in  1981, city in which alive, works and where she has completed her own formation of humanistic-scientific character.

 She earned her art diploma (Painting and Painting Decoration) in 2000 at the Istituto Statale d’Arte “F.Russoli”, the Pisa art school.  During the course of studies, she painted numerous mural works on wood and canvas among which stand out the acrylic on wood (300 cm x 600 cm) of the project inspired to the comic strip “Valentina”of Guido Crepax, judged by the same Crepax as the most meaningful work among those introduced in contest, thanks to which has won the first scholarship “School, culture and new professionalisms” conferred by the Rotary Club of Pisa.  In the same period she worked in the studio of painter Giovanni Lorenzetti  where  she deepened the knowledge of pictorial materials by theorical and application point of  view and she begun meaningfully develop her innate manual abilities. This experience allowed her to increase her interest for the materials and their use both in artistic field that in daily life. In 2004 she earned a three year university degree in Sciences of Cultural Heritage (history and art) at the liberal – arts college at the University of Pisa increased her historical-artistic culture Wish to enhanced her knowledge of the materials employees by the chemical – physical point of view in the realization of cultural heritage, has stimulated her to achieve, in 2006, the university diploma of master in “Materials and diagnostic techniques in the sector of the cultural heritage”. This educational path has allowed her to work in Valle d’Aosta (north Italian region) first as intern at “LAS” laboratory of scientific analysis  of the government department responsible for monuments and other treasures of Aosta and, then in the castle of Quart (AO) in collaboration with the restorer Anna Brunetto specialized in the use of technology laser. At the end of the University studies she undertakes with passion the path of restoration of frescoes, mural decorations and stone monument working especially in her city (Pisa) and its province, but also in the rest of Tuscany (Lucca, Florence, Livorno, Siena). Besides the activities tied up to the restoration, she realizes mural decorations ex novo to trompe l’oeil employing the different artistic techniques improved on the field: fresco, temper and acrylic are most  frequently use. In parallel to the academic education she has followed courses of photography, of web design and botanical illustration to widen her culture in the field of visual arts.
